Roma High Students Engage in New EMT Training Program
Roma High School is excited to announce that the first class of the Emergency Medical Technician Program is fully underway! The 2-semester course will prepare Roma High seniors on the knowledge and technical skills they will need to take the EMT-Basic Certification State Exam. The free course is offered to seniors who have an interest in the Health Science Field, and have taken and passed the required health science prerequisites. EMT is identified by the Texas Education Agency as a high wage, high skills, and high demand career, and is one of the fastest growing health careers in the state. Southern Star Health Education is providing the preparation for these dedicated students who have a bright future in the Health Care field. Congratulations to all the students!
