Meet the Wizard!

My name is Ms. Karina Eliserio and I have been teaching for 17 years.  I graduated from Roma High School in 2001.  I attended the University of Texas-Pan American where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Language Arts.  I received my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading from Texas A & M International University in 2019.  I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Reading and Writing. I currently serve as the Reading Language Arts Department Head for Roma Middle School.  I love to teach reading and writing because integrating both skills will help students make the leap from KNOWING to UNDERSTANDING!!
