Hi F.J. Scott Knights! My name is Laura Martinez and I am going to be your first grade teacher this 2020-2021 school year. This will be my 25th year teaching first grade at F.J. Scott Elementary. I absolutely love teaching and making each year's learning a fun and memorable experience! Together we will explore, solve, create, built and rise to new levels of learning. I was born in Irving, Texas but grew up and graduated from our wonderful city of Roma. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in Bilingual Education from the University of Texas A&M Kingsville in 1995. I am truly looking forward to helping you discover your talents, creativity, strengths and open your eyes to a world full with learning opportunities!
