Hello and Welcome!

I am Mr. J.E. Alanis and  I have 15 years teaching experience in Resource. I have very high expectations of all our students and in order to achieve high levels of studetn learning and student success; we (the student, the parents, and the teacher) must work together! I attended St. Mary's University in San Antonio where I received a Bachelors in Political Science and International Relations. I furthered my studies in graduate school at St. Mary's University, where I completed a Master's in Political Science with a Minor Concentration in Public Administration in the Spring of 2007. I challanged the Alternative Certification in Fall of 2007 and started working at FJ Scott since then. I have held multtiple leadership positions within the school and district and enjoy planning and organziing events at our campus both for our faculty and students.
