    It is the mission of the ROMA ISD Police Department to commit to providing a safe environment for students, staff, and all visitors, and minimize any interruption to the educational process.  Establish prevention measures and training in order to safeguard life and property and reduce crime. We are committed to supporting the District’s mission, to the highest level of professionalism, integrity, and improve the quality of work by providing employees with effective leadership, supervision, and training.

  • Who Are We

    The department is comprised of sworn peace officers and a support staff. Officers of the Roma Independent School District are licensed peace officers of the State of Texas. They have full arrest powers and all rights, privileges and immunities similar to municipal police officers. All schools within the district of Roma have Police and Security Officers assigned to them at all times, these officers remain at the school all day.

     
    The focus of all officers is to work as a positive influence to children and protect the schools by providing a safe learning environment.
