Howdy y’all! My name is Rebeca Garcia and I will be teaching Advanced/AP English 3 and Drama this year. I am a Roma High School graduate of 2015 and am happy to be embarking on my 3^rd year of teaching here at Roma High. I graduated with a Bachelors in English and a minor in Film from Texas A&M University in 2018, and then with a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University in 2019. Go Aggies! I have taught juniors for the past three years, which has been a really fun experience as I’ve both shared a load of laughs with them but also grown a lot as a teacher. 

These past few months have been difficult, as we’ve endured a long period of social distancing. Although I am saddened that we cannot return to the classroom, I still think we can make our time together great! I look forward to meeting new faces and working hard this year!
